The YKK sponsored Widnes Wild’s home game against Solihull Barons that was scheduled for Saturday 11th February has been postponed to make way for a GB international game.
Following on from the successful staging of an England Under 23 game at the end of last season, the Planet Ice rink at Widnes is to host more international games as the Great Britain Under 16 girls team take on their counterparts from Norway next week.
There are 3 games in the series with matches being played on Thursday 9th February (face off 1pm), Friday 10th February (1pm) and Saturday 11th February (7pm). Admission for spectators is free.
The Widnes Wild NIHL game against Solihull will be re-arranged once a suitable date can be found. The home game against Solway Sharks the following evening will take place as scheduled.
