After the Wild game against Deeside on Sunday, Rhys Edwards was presented with the Wild Player Of The Month Award for October.
During October, Rhys played in all 7 games for the Wild, scoring 1+2 and picking up 0 PIMS.
He made his debut for Widnes at the start of the season and at the time was the youngest player ever to turn out in an NIHL game for the Wild at 16 years and 99 days.
The POTM award is presented for every calendar month during the season and the winner is voted for by the fans, decided via a poll on the Wild club’s official Twitter account.
The Wild POTM award winner for September was netminder Miles Finney.
