The YKK sponsored Widnes Wild are pleased to announce – admittedly somewhat after the event - the signing of Reaghan (Reg) Taylor for the remainder of the 2022/23 NIHL season.

The 20 year old utility player hails from Hull and was a former team-mate of Wild Player Coach Richard Haggar on the Jets team, having come up through the ranks of the widely respected Kingston junior development system.

Taylor played for the Nottingham Lions in the Moralee Division last season and re-signed for the Lace City team this time around but has since opted to join the Wild.

Talking about Reaghan Taylor’s singing, Richard Haggar said:

“Reg is a young player who is able to play forward and defence giving us versatility. He has settled in with the team and is willing to put in the hard work, which was shown in our first game with some important plays. Reg is a clever knowledgeable player who reads the game way above his age and has a bright future ahead of him.”

Taylor made his Wild debut in the home win over Deeside Dragons on 6th November and he picked up an assist.

Reaghan Taylor will wear the number 13 shirt and his home, away and warm up shirts are available to “own and loan” at a cost of £80.00 per shirt for the season.
