Jake Lowndes will be the Wild’s 3rd netminder for the season
The YKK sponsored Widnes Wild are pleased to announce the signing of netminder Jake Lowndes for the forthcoming 2022/23 NIHL season.
Lowndes has iced for the Wild as back up netminder on a number occasions and played for the Academy Under 18 team during the 2019/20 season.
Jake learnt his junior hockey at Deeside and then moved on to play at Altrincham at Under 15 and Under 18 level. He also iced for the Altrincham Aces in the Laidler Division in the 2018/19 season and was back netminder in the National Division for the Leeds Chiefs for 5 games.
Jake’s home, away and warm up shirts are available to “own and loan” at a cost of £80.00 per shirt for the season.
