After the home game against Solihull Barons on Saturday, Andrew Hopkins was unveiled as the Wild Player Of The Month for March 2023.
During the calendar month of March, Andrew played in all 5 Wild games, scoring 1 goal and 3 assists.
The presentation was made by special guest for the evening Tina Gill, who is the Fundraising Manager at Halton Haven Hospice - which is the Wild’s adopted charity for this season.
Tina also took part in a ceremonial puck drop before the game and presented the MVP awards afterwards. The hospice had an information stand at the match and held a fundraising raffle with prizes of Wild merchandise that had been donated by the club.
The Player Of The Month (POTM) award is presented for every calendar month during the season and the winner is voted for by the fans, decided via a poll on the Wild club’s official Twitter account.
